My long term sub position finished up on June 26th. I've been busy with junk since then. There's some stuff going on in my family right now, and while I can't do anything about it, it's hard not to think about it. Things are difficult when they're out of your hands. I'll explain it more in a friends only post at a later time.

Plans for the summer? Keep looking for a full time teaching position. I see some available in one of the districts I sub in, so hopefully I can get my foot in the door SOMEWHERE! I'm tired of being a sub now, I'd like to be a real teacher now please.

I'll be going to AX for 1 day only, with some friends... going with 2 newbies that have never been. It should be fun for them. I think I'm tired of cons now (they're getting so huge now). Don't know what's current, not sure what I'd look for, but I'll go to go.

Going to San Francisco sometime in... August I think. Going to help chaperon a bunch of high school kids. At least that's the plan. We'll see how that pans out.

So yeah... that's that for now. I'm not sure when I'll update anything, as well... I've been lazy. Okay, bye.

At work there's just a bunch of things to do in the next 3 days. I'm probably more stressed out about it than I need to be, but you know what, whatever. What are they gonna do?? Fire me? As a long term sub, I'm not exactly worried about that. Plus I've gotten lots of compliments and comments on the job I've been doing (good comments).

So last night I played WoW until 2 in the morning helping out a friend go through an instance... 4 and a half hours later we finally finished *laughs*. Getting 4 hours of sleep is hard on my body now, guess I'm just getting old.

I'll try to sleep at a more reasonable hour tonight.

I want to update my sites, but I seem to have lost the great patience I once had for scanning. I would love to dabble with Photoshop too and make a little something here and there, but yeah... real life and laziness overwhelms me.

*sigh*... lots of social obligations coming up in the near future, graduations, birthdays, Father's Day, retirement party, probably meeting with old friends, etc.

Ummm... random note. I must be on my music buying phase right now. I bought 4 CD's this weekend, one of which is the new Weezer album. I'm not really so impressed with it yet. Maybe it'll grow on me more in the future, but at the moment I'm not really feeling it. I am totally feeling The Ting Tings album, "We Started Nothing"... got it for only $6 too.

As I type my eyes grow heavy and my thoughts are all mixed up.

I want to make a long post about how my life has been going, what I've been doing, and all that other good stuff... but I'm busy. When I'm not busy I'm trying to just relax and have some fun with my friends. Haven't had a free weekend in months, and a couple nights during the week I seem to have something to do if I'm not planning for the next day or so with work.

So, aside from being busy, I'm also a bit lazy when I do have a free day. I don't want to do anything but play or sort of... just kick back and not think.

I'm behind in my e-mails guys, sorry to those of you I need to reply to (specifically Mike and Celes). I WILL reply, sometime this century.

I wanted to let everyone know I'm doing well, just a little overworked perhaps (not to mentioned underpaid). I'm alive and kicking, sometimes yelling, and yup... something something something.

I can't wait until I can take a break. A real break. If there will ever be such a thing ever again (yes, I'm exaggerating). Well I'll try to some day write a real post, update my poor sites that should just be shot and put out of their misery, and be a good friend and just reply to those dang e-mails!

As far as a real post goes. Things are fine in life. Much of my free time is spent playing games and hanging out with friends. I've been having fun on WoW, with my lovely warlock and my 2 alts. Been also playing Rock Band whenever certain people are around or people are invited over to play. My main Rock Band buddy is my "sister" Holly, we're trying our darnedest to add as many songs to our list of songs we can play on expert (still a short list, but we improve as we play).

I just updated Random, finally with my next pointy ear gallery. I'm lazy to update any of my sites again :X... lazy and forgetful. I really need to get my rear in gear some time and update my collection and sales sites. *sigh*...

I know it's a bit early, but I'll probably be pretty busy the next few days. I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. I'll be spending the next few days around family and friends, so I'm sure to be having fun. Everyone take care, if you're traveling stay safe, and have a grand old time!

Yesterday was an early Christmas celebration with my family, since my brother and his family will be out traveling for a few weeks or something. Overall it was a fun time had by all, lots of food, some silly games (unusual for a mostly family function), and plenty of gifts given.

My siblings and parents lavish gifts upon my nephew and niece, both spoiled rotten mind you. They're currently obsessed with Naruto, which caused me to get one a Naruto and Kakashi plushie, plus an art book for my nephew who may not appreciate it as much as his mom.

As for my own haul (Secret Santa for all my siblings and significant others). I got away with Guild Wars Factions (while I still have Eye of the North and Nightfall to work on), this awesome t-shirt, and a small keg of Virgil's Root Beer (my absolute favorite root beer to date)... all of which was given to me by my brother's girlfriend. She tells me there's something else on the way, but I'm not sure what it is... so I still have more loot ^_^. I just finished installing Factions... maybe I'll work on finishing the Eye of the North quests...........

I had a nice weekend overall. I'm on break for a while, so I hope I can be productive while have some fun relaxing/playing. I have a few ideas for new galleries kicking in my head. One which may be put together soon will be called "Pointy Ears" and you can probably figure what it'll consist of. That's it, have a good week boys and girls.

It's past 2 PM, I'm still awake. I have to wake up at 7 something and I have a busy day ahead of me. *sighs*...

Something I realized recently is my sweet tooth just hasn't been quite what it used to be. Recently I've been complaining about desserts or candy being too sweet. Now don't get me wrong, I still enjoy my sweets, but I've noticed that I'm more sensitive to the ultra sweet stuff. Maybe it's a way of my body telling me that I should slow down ^_^***... *sigh*.

It was a lovely day out today after all the rain this past weekend. The sky was nice and clear, very little haze on the horizon, and overall it was just nice. It was a bit warmer than the past few days as well, which is a nice change.

I've been working on Random lately, nothing updated yet, but working on it. I'm working on a Christmas gallery, I missed last year and felt kind of bad about that, I should make up for it this year. Maybe put up some kick butt Christmas pictures (basically whatever I can find ^_^*). I'm still in the process of finding them all, so hopefully I can get them up sooner rather than later.

There's some fires going on in Southern California right now. There's some in San Diego county (not close to my area, but close to some people I know). Looking out the window there's a nasty dark orange tint. I know some schools are closed due to the poor air quality.

I'm praying for those people who area near the fire, firefighters trying to contain the fire, or anyone otherwise affected by it. This Santa Ana Wind is making everything hard to contain (not familiar with Santa Ana Winds? Hot, dry, wind... and I heard it could get up to 85 MPH on the news).

Yeah, I didn't sleep right away last night. I just couldn't sleep so I read... until 3:30. I'm back to reading Feist's Riftwar Legacy and I'm on the third book, Krondor Tear of the Gods. I'm not sure if I'm in my reading phase yet again, maybe I'm in my playing/reading phase? You know when I can actually play (I haven't touched my DS in a while).

I also posted some "junk" over on ebay. Some games I'm done playing, a few DVDs, and some telephone cards (K-Books and Melon Books if you're familiar with those stores). I'll probably post some more up hopefully soonish.

I'm really trying to push myself to sell so I can have a nice new laptop in my grubby little paws sooner ^_^. I'll do my best to save and everything. *whew*

Nothing much is new. Yesterday went out with Oliver and Ken to eat a late lunch/early dinner over at BJ's (I like their wings a lot). Today went out with Oliver and Van (who I haven't seen in over a year!) for lunch over at Cheesecake Factory for some Kobe Burgers (which are good, but damn I miss Just Fabulous >_<).

Math is totally delicious... and I want one! It'll go with my t-shirt. Arg. I can't spend money on random things though, not until after I get a new laptop. How annoying. I want one I want one I want one XD, gosh darn it! It would be super awesomeriffic.

Okay, I can't buy any art books (unless I go to Book Off ^_^*), shitajiki, or other random junk... not until after I get my laptop. So it's been said, if I buy anything like that before I'm supposed to you can all beat me with chocolate bars!

I'll be going in early today to work, just so I can do the rest of the prep that I want to do for my job this week.

I'm hoping it'll be tolerable weather today. Kids tend to get testy when the weather is hot (hey, so do adults). I'll make sure my AC is on though, especially after kids come in from recess.

I don't know what I'll eat for lunch. I'm not hungry yet, but I'll have some food with me. I hope these are okay kids. The principal told me all I need to worry about is surviving.

I've said I'd post about my trips, and I've written up most of what I want to put up... it's just that meh. I've been sick since I got home :/. It sucks being sick. Especially in this heat (it's the hottest it's been in San Diego this summer).

I worked on Friday though :). I have a job for this entire week too. It's not going to be fabulous or anything, I'll be teaching in an overflow class while they figure out where to put students (too many students who registered late). It's upper grade, and I hope that I'll survive alright. From what I understand this happens each year.

Well then. Yeah. That's it at the moment. I'm a bit tired despite a nap. Okay, bye.

Luminous Arc is officially beaten. It took 4 days and 23-24 hours to beat. Yup, I put in lots of time into the game. Oliver is at the last boss now too... and he has less time logged on to the game, I'm so slow ;_;.

Oh well, now I can play through again, there's also a secret dungeon I can go to now. *whew*

Yay for beating games. Maybe I should fire up Rune Factory later ^_^. Games games games. Later.

I'm soooo tired. I'll type more about my D.C. trip some other day. I'm tired =_=. I'm lightheaded right now (and have been for 2-3 days). I need to get some proper sleep now.
